Suzuki has launched the 2019 Suzuki Eeco in the Indian market with enhanced safety features to meet the strict safety norms set to come into effect from October this year. The updated model’s prices start at INR 3.55 lakh and go goes up to INR 6.54 lakh.
The Eeco now gets a driver airbag, ABS with EBD, a speed alert system, seatbelt warning for both front occupants and a reverse parking sensor. Previously, none of these features were available in the Eeco. Also, the steering wheel is borrowed from the Alto to offer the driver airbag. Other than that, there are no cosmetic or mechanical upgrades. Powering the Eeco is the same 1.2-litre petrol motor that puts out 73 bhp and 101 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.[gallery size="full" ids="8231,8229,8230,8232"]
